Introduction

It was prophetic when we changed our name to NoLimits Church in 2016. The Lord changed our name because He wanted us to align with what we were to become by speaking it over and over.

There are many examples in scripture of God giving someone a new name. It didn’t happen after the person had changed. It happened ahead of time, as a prophecy.

Think of Abraham. His name was originally Abram, which means “exalted father”. But when God revealed that he would be the father of many nations, He changed his name to Abraham.

What’s the difference? Abraham means “father of a multitude.” But at the time of the name change, Abraham was old and childless. Yet every time his name was used, prophecy was released.

Every time someone called his name, they were declaring, “Hey, father of many nations! Abraham! Father of many nations!” God has done the same thing for our church.

Seven years ago, it’s been seven years since He moved on our leadership team to change our name to NoLimits Church. He wanted us to release prophecy every time we said our name.

Now it’s time for the prophecy to become reality.

What does a limitless reality look like?

First of all, we come in line with what Jesus revealed in Luke 9:

Luke 9:1 NLT – One day Jesus called together his twelve disciples and gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases.

Living in a limitless reality means that we are not limited by sickness or demonic oppression. We use the power and authority Jesus gave us to cast out ALL demons and heal ALL diseases. How do we get there? By simply asking Jesus, just like the disciples did in the book of Acts:

Acts 4:29-30 NLT – And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.

What happened after they made this request of the Lord? The meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Our limitless reality is dependent on us being filled with the Holy Spirit. We must never hesitate to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Give us a fresh filling right now, Lord.

We must constantly expect Jesus to stretch out His hand with healing power. Miraculous signs and wonders must become common to the people of God. What does a limitless reality look like? It’s when we exercise the power and authority of Christ on a daily basis to cast out all demons and heal all diseases.

What else?

John 14:12-14 NLT – I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

A limitless reality requires bold asking. And not just boldness, but confident expectation that Jesus will do whatever we ask Him to do.

Hebrews 10:19-23 NLT – And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

A limitless reality requires us to be bold in our identity in Christ. We must be confident in our right to enter the most holy place because of the blood of Jesus. We must go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts, fully trusting Him.

We have to abandon those old, religious mindsets. God, if it is your will. God, I’m only a wretched sinner saved by grace; I am not worthy to enter your presence. Religious nonsense! Everything I just said is antichrist! It is the exact opposite of what Jesus told us to do!

We know God’s will! It was revealed through the life of Jesus. You don’t need to pray, “If it be your will.” Get in the Word of God so you can realize what His will is and align yourself with it.

  • God’s will is healing, no doubt about it. Align yourself with it.
  • God’s will is to meet ALL your needs. Align yourself with it.
  • God’s will is for the church to be glorious! Align yourself with it.
  • God’s will is for us to live as kings and priests in this life. Align yourself with it.

“God, I’m only a wretched sinner saved by grace; I am not worthy to enter your presence.” No! Your guilty conscience has been completely cleaned with the blood of Christ!

The blood of Jesus obliterated your sin. The blood fulfilled the consequences of your sin. The blood removed your guilt and shame. The blood freed you from your sin.

You aren’t wretched anymore! You are a new creation! Don’t you dare blaspheme the blood of Christ by acting all pitiful. That’s not humility. It is heresy! It’s why I don’t like the song, “Amazing Grace.” Saved a wretch like me? No. It saved the wretch I used to be.

Here’s how the religious spirit responds to a message like this, “Well, that’s arrogant.” No, it’s not. It’s confidence. And my confidence is not in myself; it’s in the blood of Christ.

A limitless reality requires us to be bold in our identity in Christ. We must be so bold that we go right into the presence of God, ask Him for what we need, and confidently expect that He will do it.

What else?

Isaiah 54:2-3 NLT – Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.

A limitless reality requires complete freedom from the poverty mindset.

Physical resources – money, land, buildings, supplies – are nothing to God. We are the ones who make it a big ordeal. God is just waiting for us to think like Him.

The resources are readily available. We hinder our access with wrong thinking. We choose to cling to what our parents said, or what that pastor said, or what culture says, rather than what the Word of God says.

I can guarantee you that Jesus never made a big deal out of money or resources. While His disciples were fretting over if they would have enough, He aligned His thoughts with the Father.

When He was faced with feeding 5,000 people, He didn’t fret. He aligned His thoughts with the Father. Resources are nothing. Everything needed is provided by God at just the right time.

And what did God do? He fed the 5,000. He supplied all their need and did more than was necessary. There were leftovers!

Resources are nothing to God. They are simply part of the process of establishing His kingdom on the earth. God has all the resources and desperately wants to get them to us.

In the verse we just read, it said to spare no expense when expanding God’s house. Did that rub you the wrong way? If it did, that poverty mindset is still at work within you. Rebuke it!

Are you bothered when the people of God have nice things? Are you bothered that the church spent money on something you disagreed with?

Are you bothered that a big-name preacher on TV has a private jet? Are you bothered in any way by money? If so, that poverty mindset is still at work within you.

A poverty mindset clings to the idea that resources are limited. If we use money for a nice building, we won’t have money to feed the poor.

That’s called limited thinking. You are acting like God doesn’t have enough resources to build His house, sparing no expense while taking care of the poor at the same time.

A limitless reality requires complete freedom from the poverty mindset.

What else?

Isaiah 30:15 NLT – Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength.

A limitless reality requires resting in the Lord.

If you are striving, hustling, and working your butt off to get things done, you will always be limited by what YOU can do. That’s the way of the world, not the kingdom of God. Jesus demonstrated the kingdom of God for us:

John 5:19 NLT – So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.”

Jesus didn’t keep Himself busy. He didn’t try to impress people with how much he could accomplish. He didn’t buy into the idea that those who work the hardest are the godliest.

No. He ONLY did what He saw the Father doing. That’s it.

I’m sure people expected all kinds of things from Jesus. But if it didn’t come from the Father, He didn’t do it. He did not bow to the expectations of others. He stayed in a place of rest, trusting God.

A limitless reality requires resting in the Lord because resting in the Lord reveals that we trust the Lord.

When you are striving, hustling, and working your butt off, it’s because you don’t trust the Lord. You don’t trust Him to provide. You don’t trust Him to reveal quick solutions to problems.

You might even be trying to earn something that’s already been provided through the blood of Christ. Stop it! Stop! Abandon your own understanding and pursue God instead.

Do what Jesus did! Decide now, “I am only doing what I see the Father doing.” In other words, you wait on the Lord to reveal your next step while resting in His perfect timing.

His ways are better. His thoughts are higher. This means that His ways don’t align with our ways. His thoughts don’t align with our thoughts.

You have to abandon your own ways in order to move into God’s much better and higher ways.

And I can tell you right now, our busy lives do not impress God. Our busy lives are not a reflection of Jesus. Our busy lives are a distraction from what God wants us to do.

So, how do we know what God wants us to do?

Isaiah 52:6 NLT – But I will reveal my name to my people, and they will come to know its power. Then at last they will recognize that I am the one who speaks to them.

To recognize God’s voice, first, the name of Jesus Christ has to be revealed to you. This is when you get saved. Then, you have to come to know the power of the name of Jesus.

It’s when you realize the name of Jesus removed our transgressions, our sins, our rebellion against God. It obliterated it all. Not only that, but the name of Jesus removed the consequences of our sin. The guilt, the shame, and the punishment we deserved has already been fulfilled.

Not only that, but in place of guilt and punishment, the name of Jesus gives us peace with God. Our covenant relationship with our Heavenly Father had been restored.

Not only that, but the name of Jesus healed us. He mended us back together. He cured every sickness and disease. He cast out every demon.

So, once the name of Jesus is revealed and you come to know the power of His name, then at last you recognize that the Lord is the one who speaks to you.

God has been speaking to you all along, you just haven’t recognized it. But now that you have come to know the power of the name of Jesus, you are going to recognize His voice.

A limitless reality requires resting in the Lord. It’s when you get to a place that you no longer fret in the times of waiting. You don’t freak out when He calls you to do something you are not qualified for.

You simply live in great peace because you trust that the Lord knows exactly what He is doing, whether you agree or not.

NoLimit’s Assignment

Our assignment is to make Owasso a safe haven until Jesus comes. We are to possess the land and occupy places of leadership in this city to establish the Kingdom of God.

This assignment will be fulfilled much quicker than we expect. It will all unfold very quickly, but it won’t be overwhelming. We will conquer this assignment from a place of rest.

The reason it will happen quickly is because it is only the beginning. It is like the foundation that supports the full vision God has for us.

Our church is positioned as a hub. It is a storehouse. In prayer last week, God gave me a vision where our church was a bright light on a map. From that light were streaks of light going all over the world.

We are a hub, a storehouse, that contains the resources needed to send messengers of the gospel all around the world. Our resources will become so vast that we don’t hesitate to send people out.

When someone hears the Father say they are called to Uganda, we will immediately spring into action, buy their home in Uganda, charter a private jet, and provide everything they need.

The resources will be so vast, we can’t even fathom it. If we need a jet, we’ll just buy one. If we need more land, we’ll just buy it. If we need a huge stadium, we’ll just build it.

Around the time that our ten days of prayer and fasting started, Beth had a dream from the Lord. This is unusual for her, so it made quite an impact.

She and I were standing in front of a beautiful tree with the Lord. It was perfectly pruned and healthy and growing. Then the Lord said, “You’ve done a great job with this tree. Thank you. But look around.”

Once He took our attention from the tree, we looked around and noticed the forest around it for the first time. Then He said, “This is for you too. You are not called to just one tree.”

The Lord has graciously allowed us to focus on our church. And it’s beautiful! It’s perfectly pruned and healthy and growing. The Lord is well pleased with NoLimits Church.

Now it’s time to look out into the forest and clear the debris. Prune the trees. Nurture the land.

We are a hub, a storehouse. And from this storehouse, we will go out into the world and establish exactly what the Lord has done here.

That’s why I brought you this message today. I revealed to you how this prophecy, NoLimits Church, becomes reality.

  • Use the power and authority of Jesus to cast out all demons and heal all diseases.
  • Be bold in our identity in Christ. Go right into His presence, ask for what we need, and confidently expect Him to do it.
  • Receive complete freedom from the poverty mindset.
  • Conquer God’s assignments from a place of rest.
  • Only do what God reveals. Nothing else.

When God changed our name seven years ago, it was prophetic. He wanted us to declare His promise over and over again. Now, no limits is to become our reality.

A Message on Offering

Several times in the message, I explained how NoLimits Church is a storehouse. When the Holy Spirit revealed that to me during prayer last week, I went to scripture for understanding and landed on everyone’s favorite verse:

Malachi 3:10 NJKV – Bring all the tithes into the storehouse

Our focus in this verse has always been on the tithe. We just kind of skip over the word storehouse and trust the common belief that it simply refers to the local church.

If that’s the case, then God has some explaining to do because of what the rest of the verse says.

Malachi 3:10 NJKV – Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”

See what I mean? I know many people who have tithed to their local church for years but haven’t seen this kind of result.

Our answer to that is, “Well, they didn’t give with faith.” I get that argument. You can’t expect to receive anything from God without faith. Yet, faith is not mentioned as a requirement in this verse.

The context of this passage is all about obedience. God was correcting disobedient people. He was calling them back to a place of obedience and revealing the rewards of doing so.

The problem here isn’t a lack of faith. The problem is a lack of obedience. He didn’t say to bring your tithe just anywhere. He said to bring it into the storehouse.

To receive the full benefit, you have to follow the full instruction. You can’t just do part of it. You have to do all of it. The reason we haven’t seen “so much blessing we can’t contain it” is because most local churches aren’t a true storehouse.

According to this verse, a storehouse is God’s treasury. It’s where He stores His treasure and supplies. It’s His armory, where He stores His weapons.

If you look at a local church and it is dead inside, it’s not a storehouse. If there are no weapons, if the people there aren’t destroying works of darkness, it’s not a storehouse.

If it is beat down, depressed, and operating under a poverty mindset, it is not a storehouse. If God hasn’t placed His treasure and supplies there, it’s not a storehouse.

But look around and see that NoLimits Church truly is a storehouse. When you bring your tithes here, you can confidently call upon God to fulfill His promise and pour out so much blessing you can’t contain it.

If you are new to the word ‘tithe’, it simply means the first 10% of your income. The first thing you do every time you get paid is take 10% to God’s storehouse.

If you don’t do this already, it’s never too late to start. This is one of the few times God invites you to test Him on His promise. So, what have you got to lose?

If you’ve been tithing, call upon God to fulfill His promise. He’s revealed that NoLimits Church is a true storehouse, so this promise has no choice but to come to pass.

I am in no way pressuring you to give. I’m simply revealing what’s available to you. Now you decide what to do with it.
