It is located right off the highway, near 106th St N. There’s Jim Glover, then the bowling alley, then an urgent care, and then this land, which is ten acres. It is mostly overgrown with a ten thousand square foot building near the back.
This building needs an overhaul, as you can see. It is basically an open barn. It needs new metal siding, and the inside would have to be completely finished out.
But, even just having a foundation with a steel frame saves about $400,000 in construction costs. Doesn’t that make you thankful that at least something already exists?
For those of you who have a hard time seeing what could be, just cringe and await the finished product. For those of you who are visionaries, you already see what this can become.
Back in March, Tim and I met the realtor at this property to see inside the building. The realtor gets out of his truck, and I realize it is a guy that I had just met a few weeks before from the church that meets here at NoLimits every Sunday evening.
Need prayer? 🙏 Submit prayer request →There is no such thing as a coincidence. God orchestrates the right connections as we need them. His master plan is quite extraordinary!
A few weeks after seeing it, we submitted an offer. Here we are four months later and the owner has still not responded to the offer. Not a no. Not a yes. Not a nothing.
We’ve followed up several times, but have mostly left it in the hands of the Lord. I have peace knowing that we took the steps as directed by the Lord, and now it is His turn to work it out.
Most give up after a few months of waiting on the Lord, but not me. I trust the Lord and I am completely at peace while I wait for Him to show us the next step.
Plus, I know that a harvest is coming from the financial seeds we have sown. God is glorified as we expect His Word to come to pass. He said give and it will be given back to you multiplied. We believe what He’s spoken.
Back in January, our church sowed $35,000 into a ministry in Argentina that rescues women and children out of human trafficking. They used that money to expand their building. A few weeks after that, an opportunity arose to sow $13,500 to buy land for our Mexico missionary’s church.
This is how the kingdom of God works! When you need something, God gives you an opportunity to meet that same type of need for someone else.
This opportunity to sow seed at the perfect time was even more miraculous than the harvest we will receive to pay for our land. I couldn’t get them the money fast enough, I was so excited!
Speaking of Mexico, our missions team is back and they are going to tell us about their trip here in a bit. It’s going to be awesome!
You may also remember a few weeks ago when we had the opportunity to sow into Mexico again by paying for a couple of new air conditioners. You all hopped on that quick!
A harvest is coming from the financial seeds we have sown. God is glorified as we expect His Word to come to pass. He said give and it will be given back to you multiplied. We believe what He’s spoken.
We will acquire valuable land and buildings, and all of it will be paid in full by the harvest God provides. Watch and see as the Lord is glorified by what He does for NoLimits Church.
First, just like your home is important to your family, the place where we meet is important to the church.
Second, God commands His people to possess the land. We are His people and the land is better of in our hands.
Third, the Prophet Isaiah said, “Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.”
When we spread out our home base, the result will be spreading out into other cities, states, and nations. We are building a hub, a terminal that brings people in and sends them out!
If you believe that the Lord meant it when He promised a multiplied return on our seeds sown, shout “Amen.”
As we wait for our land, I’ve been looking for a way to bring our two services back together. It was the right solution for a time, but now the army needs to come back together.
There are a couple of temporary meeting locations we have been working on. We’re going to give one of them a test run in two weeks.
On Sunday, August 11, both services will come together in a room that can accommodate more than 250 people. Want to know where it is?
Right behind me. To the West of us is a building that has been converted into an event center. We are renting it out on August 11 to find out if it works as a temporary meeting location.
Joe McGee will be joining us that Sunday. He is a well-known speaker and funny guy who has dedicated his life to restoring families.
This is a great opportunity to invite family and friends. We will have plenty of room! We will also be inviting the Owasso community to come and hear Joe.
Sunday August 11. We will meet at the building directly to the West of us for one service at 10:30am. Who’s ready?
It’ll be a great test run to find out if we want to keep using that building as a temporary meeting location while we wait on our land. If it doesn’t work, I have other options in the works.
This all ties into a prophetic word Beth released back in January. Stay focused as I read what the Lord revealed to us that Sunday.
Beth said, “I see a highway. It’s dark outside, but you are in a vehicle with headlights, so you can see where you are going. But when you turn the car, your headlights point a different way and you can no longer see the highway.
There are detours popping up, and the detours are not from the Lord. Detours of what we perceive to be success, detours of offense, detours from a lack of trust. I see these exit opportunities. You pass it and say, ‘I passed that test.’ Then comes the next one.
You take the detour but realize you made a mistake, so you return to the highway. Then you see the next exit, each one an opportunity to detour from the plan of God on your life.
As you travel down the highway, you wonder, ‘How long will I be on the highway? What’s ahead? Is there relief in sight?’ In which the Lord replies, ‘I just need you to stay on the road. I am lighting up your path right in front of you. But when you detour, you lose your way. The light is no longer on the road. So go back to the road.
And when you get back, don’t go 25 miles per hour. I need you to go! I have people up there! There are stops for you to make and things for you to do. I need you to go full speed to reach that person before it’s too late.
Time is running out! They’ve asked Me to meet the need, but they are really waiting on you to meet it because you are My hands and feet. You are going to pay that electric bill. You are going to lay hands on that dead person, and they will rise again.
Do not be in fear. Do not be ashamed. Do not be distracted from the path I have called you to. And know this: your headlights only go so far. I have designed it that way because I need you to keep moving in faith. I will light up your path. My Word is a lamp unto your feet!’”
When we get caught up in the distractions of success, offense, and doubting God, we lose our way. There is no light there.
But when we are on track, we need to put the pedal to the metal. No more easing forward. It’s time to blaze forward into what God has for us!
We don’t have time for timid decision making. We don’t have time to waste in regrets. We don’t have time for distractions. It’s time to go! And as we go, the Lord will light up the path along the way.
This also ties into a tongue and interpretation released last Sunday:
“Those whom I call I firmly equip, says the Lord. Those whom I call I firmly equip, says the Lord. You are more equipped than you realize. However, in this new level of glory I am taking you, I will pull back the curtain to the golden weapons I have in your arsenal. For they have been reserved for such a time as this, says the Lord. Recognize this: they are not physical; they are spiritual, for they can only be used by your spirit. The access is through My Spirit.
For the church is the mighty force, says the Lord. Do not draw back. Do not stay in the stands and cheer on someone else. For you have a position to be filled. There’s a vacancy when you don’t fill your position, says the Lord.
I see a stadium full of people. They are sitting there bound by a paper-like substance, like toilet paper. When they begin to move and stand up, the paper rips and falls off. Then, they walk down the steps to the field to engage in their call.
Then, they turn around and call back to those in the stands. One person shakes her head no, completely terrified. So, they go to the next person. He begins to move. You can tell he’s getting a revelation as he begins to twist his upper body. What’s wrapped around him begins to cinch on him to where he feels more restricted. As it squeezes him, he pushes back harder and jumps up, and everything falls to his feet.
The paper-like substance acts like living matter. When it falls, it looks decayed already. It happens quickly. And the man runs down and says, ‘I’m willing, and I’m obedient.’
The paper-like substance represents the spirit of fear. The only bondage a believer can be in is fear. Know this: When you choose to resist the devil, he has no choice but to flee. But you have to act first.”
The only bondage a believer can be in is fear. And now we know what the spirit of fear looks like: toilet paper. It is fragile and easily broken. It decays as soon as it hits the ground.
For those of you bound by fear, toilet paper is what’s kept you bound. The enemy presents himself as a roaring lion, but he is really just a roll of toilet paper.
As I’ve been casting out demons for the last year, I’ve learned this is true of all unclean spirits. They present themselves as big and bad, just like you see in the movies.
Those who are bound are terrified because they’ve believed the lie that these nasty spirits are hard to get rid of. They’re not. Their nothing more than a roll of toilet paper.
Every unclean spirit is weak and pitiful against the power of Jesus Christ! This includes generational bondage. It is all weak and pitiful against the power of Jesus Christ!
This includes sickness and disease. It is all weak and pitiful against the power of Jesus Christ! Nothing can stand against the power and authority of Jesus Christ. The only way satan gets away with anything is by getting you to beieve he is big and bad and hard to defeat.
If you roll over in fear in timidity, the enemy has his way. But if you resist the devil, stand up, and blaze forward into what God has from you, the enemy becomes so terrified of you, he flees seven ways.
Who’s ready to break free from timidity?
Who’s ready to break free from the fear of failure?
Who’s ready to break from from the fear of missing God?
Who’s ready to cut the distractions and put the petal to the metal?
When you stand up and move towards God, fear breaks off. It is fragile and easily broken, but it requires action. It might squeeze harder, but it’s still not stronger than you.
Break off the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus!
